IS THERE REALLY A NEED?
We easily slip into the vicious cycle of fearing illness and avoiding treatment, having the illusion that as long as we do not deal with our internal issues, sooner or later it will all get better. In fact the reality is the opposite, our physical problem and our psychological problem is indeed very similar. For example, when your left leg hurts, the whole body will naturally avoid the pain by overcompensating, resulting in bad posture, and eventually causing pain all over your body. The same is true for psychological problems. When we avoid certain psychological pain, our lives will beome distorted due to overcompensating, eventually bringing more pain and affecting our entire life. Healing and growth are best achieve with early intervention and treatment.

WHAT IS MARRAIGE AND FAMILY THERAPY?

Marriage and family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that can help individuals, couples, and families understand themselves better, improve communication, and coping with conflicts. It focuses on improving problematic interpersonal relationships, including problems with oneself. It can be done with the whole family meeting together or just individual counselling.
